Coffee with Democrats!

El Dorado County Democrats are renewing our outreach efforts with a monthly 'Coffee with Democrats' meetup for the remainder of 2023.

Our clubs will rotate sponsorship by hosting an informal coffee and conversation meetup at local venues on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

All are welcome. Please share this invitation with your local contacts.

Our goal is to further engage with local democrats and increase our outreach and membership.

The Democratic Women of EDC was honored to be co-sponsors with the Democratic Central Committee (DCC) for the Democrats After Dark fundraiser in February. It was a grand success and was so much fun.

The DWEDC is excited to hold our first in-person event of the year on April 16th. The annual Spring Fling will be a celebration of Women’s History with Champagne & Chocolate.

The speaker for our March meeting, Maureen Dion-Perry from Housing El Dorado, gave us an update of the tremendous work they accomplished.

The United Democrats held their monthly meeting on March 16th, featuring speaker Lori Anzini, EID Director.

On Saturday, April 1st the Fred Winn Student Essay Contest Luncheon will be held featuring this year's winners. We look forward to celebrating the students for their essays on Bullying. 

The County Fair will be held from June 15-18. Volunteers will be needed to cover the shifts. Please contact the club directly to sign-up.

Our club members have been focused on trying to get Board of Supervisors to continue the Human Rights Commission. We are also getting ready to Earth Day celebrations on April 22nd.
