Every Day is Tax Day Under Biden This past week, Tax Day came and went, but under the Biden administration, high taxes and bad economic policies are here to stay. What you need to know: From day one, Biden has sought to shake down the middle class for every penny possible. In less than 3 years Biden has: Raised the tax burden on people making as little as $20,000 per year, breaking his campaign promise. Expanded the IRS with $80 billion, which will lead to an estimated 710,000 new audits of people making less than $75,000 per year. Targeted Americans who earn just $600 on payment apps like Venmo – resulting in as many as four million new tax forms for small businesses. Levied a hidden inflation tax for two straight years, which has already cost families an estimated $10,000. If that's not enough, Biden's latest $69 trillion budget would make things even worse. It would: Slam Americans with at least a dozen tax hikes totaling "$4.7 trillion in new and expanded taxes." Increase the business tax rate to 28%, which the Tax Foundation estimates will kill 129,000 jobs, shrink the economy, and cut wages for low-income Americans. Despite high gas prices, add $31 billion in tax hikes on U.S. oil and gas production. RPA Chairman Cody Hiland spoke at the April meeting of the Clark County Republican Committee. Chairman Hiland talked about the legislative session, RNC matters, and party unity headed into 2024. The Crawford County Republican Committee held their Lincoln-Reagan Dinner featuring Juanita Broaddrick. The theme was: "Can You Have a Sense of Humor and Still be a Conservative Republican?" The answer: Of course. Tweet of the Week The debt ceiling fight gives us a chance to have a deadline and have a requirement to take action, and that will at least get politicians brought to the table. I joined @GowdyAmerica last night to discuss the debt ceiling. My full interview, here: @RepFrenchHill Republican Party of Arkansas | 1201 W. 6th St, Little Rock, AR 72201 Unsubscribe
