Friend -

My schedule is packed today, it’s another busy week but I wanted to quickly pop in and get a message out to all of you before the day got away from me.

Tonight at midnight marks the halfway point of May. We don’t have any official FEC “mid-month deadlines” but we do have some very real goals to hit this month that are even more important now that the national Republicans have put out the very first attack ad against us.

The path to keeping our Senate majority depends on our race here in the unpredictable swing state of Michigan. It’s why keeping up with our (very real) internal fundraising goals is such a critical part of defending this seat and it’s also why we’ve been sending you a few more emails than normal this week.

If you’ve been thinking about it for a while now, can you please add a contribution to our campaign before midnight tonight? Your support will allow us to fend off the baseless attacks and get back to running a levelheaded and issues-driven campaign.
