My inspiration to become Treasurer of Delaware

This month, I had the privilege of joining Tammy Ordway and her team on a podcast we recorded for Accounting and Accountability. During our conversation, we discussed the importance of economics in health care and how it inspired me to become Treasurer of Delaware.

With a background in Molecular Biology and experience as a Physician Assistant, I witnessed firsthand the impact of economics on patient care. This motivated me to pursue certification in Public Finance, and assist major healthcare systems across the country in improving financial outcomes for individuals and families.

Now, as Treasurer of Delaware, my team and I are dedicated to providing our residents with a safer and more stable financial future. We oversee all state transactions, collaborate closely with auditors to ensure accuracy, and develop plans that benefit everyone, including retirement, education, and disability plans. We also prioritize connecting with residents to address their needs effectively.

These efforts reflect our commitment to serving Delaware's families, and building a more secure future for our communities.
