Union labor built the middle class in America, and was started in Michigan.

As the representative for one of the most unionized districts in the country, Elissa can tell you first hand that unions are the backbone of our economy. And that the very simple concept of collective bargaining gets workers the benefits and pay they deserve.

We’re thrilled to announce that 14 major Michigan labor unions that represent over 100,000 workers are endorsing Elissa’s campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan.

During Elissa’s time in Congress, she has been an advocate for organized labor. She pushed leaders in both parties to pass the CHIPS Act into law to manufacture microchips in the U.S. and further ensure that no other country has a veto on our economic security.

And she championed bills like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to rebuild our roads, bridges, and water infrastructure while creating tens of thousands of good-paying, union jobs across Michigan.

Their early endorsement message is clear: Michiganders are looking for a tested leader who is willing to put their head down and do the work on Michigan’s toughest challenges.
