Dear Friend,
On Wednesday, Joe Biden vetoed a bipartisan joint resolution of disapproval passed by both the House and Senate blocking his unconstitutional student loan transfer scheme. This legislation, which even had the support of several Democrats, prevented billions of taxpayer dollars from being transferred from wealthy borrowers onto the backs of the American taxpayer.
When asked not too long ago, even Nancy Pelosi confirmed that the president does not have the power for student loan debt forgiveness. Despite this veto, the fight will continue both in Congress and in the Courts, to ensure that those who either payed off their student loan debt or decided not to go to college, are not saddled with debt they did not borrow.
Should the government pay off the student loan debt of the wealthy?

This week, I was honored to receive the "Champion of Limited Government Award" by the Institute for Legislative Analysis (ILA). The ILA award measures how well every federal and state lawmaker in America adheres to the limited government principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Big government is never the answer, and I was proud to receive this award for my consistent voting record to keep our government limited.
