United Dem volunteers report a significant increase in positive interactions with fairgoers, particularly among younger fairgoers (16 to 26). Congratulations to the United Dems for organizing and leading this annual outreach effort!  CADEM's Forever Organizing team has a lot of new and exciting volunteer opportunities available including our Statewide Day of Action this Saturday, June 24. Statewide Day of Action: Organize with Pride In a time where extremists in the GOP are pushing anti-LGBTQIA+ agendas, it’s never been more important to take action and stand up for equality! In 2023 alone, over 520 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the country. The CADEM Forever Organizing team will be hosting phone banks across the state to respond to this attack on our rights with action and organizing to ensure that voters know that the Democrats are on the right side of history. We encourage El Dorado County Democrats to sign up for any of the phone banking shifts this Saturday, June 24.
