Just this morning, another right-wing Republican jumped in the Ohio Senate race to try to defeat my colleague Senator Sherrod Brown. So I’m asking you to join me today in making sure Sherrod has the resources to take on the GOP and win:

If you can afford it, will you split a contribution between our campaigns today so we can win Ohio, hold the Senate for Democrats, and keep the American Dream alive for all of us?

Look, this is not going to be an easy race.

CNN has called Sherrod one of the most vulnerable Senators in the country, and no matter who wins the GOP primary, Mitch McConnell is going to spend millions of dollars propping them up and attacking Sherrod.

With control of the Senate potentially coming down to Ohio, this is likely to be one of the most competitive — and expensive — races in the country.

So please, we need to show we have Sherrod’s back — especially today.
