We have interesting news: Mike Pence’s political action committee (PAC) launched digital attack ads against Elissa late last month. It’s the latest sign that the Presidential race is deeply intertwined with our Senate race here in Michigan.

But here is the interesting part: His campaign is using these attack ads to trick people online into signing up for *his email list* and supporting his campaign for President.

Here’s why: The public polling in Michigan recently shows that both the Senate and Presidential races in Michigan will be a dead-heat – so Mike Pence is using these ads as a way to get people on his email list and drum up early support in Michigan.

Earlier this year, the National Republican Senatorial Committee launched their own digital attack ads against Elissa in an effort to influence this race.

National Republicans know that in order to flip the White House and the Senate, they need to win Michigan. That means they’re going to throw the kitchen sink at us – and these ads are just the beginning.

That is why your support is so important to our success. When you chip in $10 or $15 and so do dozens of other people, it helps us send a message to these Republicans that we have Elissa’s back and this will not be an easy seat to flip.
