The good news is that the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt, has pushed the Financial Conduct Authority into action. The FCA, the regulator, has written to the 30 leading banks and building societies demanding to know how many accounts have been closed, and why.
I will keep pursuing this campaign, along with the GB News’ campaign “Don’t Kill Cash!” The last thing that I want to see is a Central Bank Digital Currency with total control of how and where we spend our money. The Communist China Social Credit System would be the result.

GLOBAL POLITICS : WHO IS VIVEK RAMASWANY?
I am off to Milwaukee next week for the first Republican Presidential Debate where all of the runners and riders, with the exception of Donald Trump, will be on stage. Of particular interest to me will be Vivek Ramaswamy, a 38 year- old entrepreneur. He may well be the future of conservatism in America. Much will depend on how he performs.
As for Trump…well he is over 40% ahead in the nomination race. Yet his legal issues just get worse. Surely, fair minded people can see that a politicised judiciary is overplaying their hand?
