I’ll get right to it: My team and I are closely tracking our August fundraising goals as we close out this month and go into the holiday weekend.

We don’t have any official FEC “end of the month deadlines.” (that comes on September 30th), so there’s no fabricated must-have sum we have to achieve. But this is a moment for us as a campaign to assess what we need to accomplish in the final month of the quarter.

Every week, my team and I meet to go over our path to victory and what it’s going to take to win this race. The early support we get now quite literally guides all of those decisions — how quickly we can air ads, hire staff, and build out our ground game. All of that is especially important ahead of a Republican opponent launching their campaign in early September.

Our internal goals and benchmarks are important in keeping us on track to succeed, and your support right now will be especially beneficial to making sure we’re meeting all of our targets. That’s why I’m asking:
