John, as August comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what brought me here.
I spend so much time telling you all what I'm working toward, that I sometimes forget to share the " why. "
Before I continue – 2024 may seem far away, your early support is absolutely essential. Our End of Month Fundraising Goal is the perfect opportunity to join our team early on – will you help us reach it with a contribution today? [[link removed]]
REACH OUR GOAL [[link removed]]
John, let me give you some background:
When I was a little girl, my dad’s business went bankrupt and my family lost everything—even my dollhouse. We moved to Delaware to start over, and went from rental home to rental home, school to school, and even experienced homelessness.
That struggle early on in my life inspired me to help prevent other families from falling through the cracks.
It’s why I worked as an ambulance driver and an operating room physician assistant, practicing in neurosurgery and obstetrics and gynecology in Delaware hospitals.
It’s why I ran for State Treasurer, lowering the cost of living in our state and delivering relief for middle and working class families.
After years of serving as State Treasurer, I saw an opportunity to do even more for our state in Congress.
John, whether you live in Claymont or Kenton, Dover or Ocean View, and everywhere in between, I’m running to prioritize Delaware families.
I'm gathering early support for my race in 2024, and reaching our initial goals is so important. John, our August End of Month Fundraising Deadline is TONIGHT – will you chip in toward our goal before it's too late? [[link removed]]

John, your support helps us amplify the voices of working families, advocate for policies that promote economic fairness, and build a brighter future for Delaware. Thank you.
In unity,
Colleen Davis
At just eight years old, Colleen’s life changed when her father’s company fell victim to fraud and went bankrupt. Her family was evicted, lost their home and all of their possessions, and they moved from rental home to rental home and school to school.
Thanks to the power of family, hard work and the care of her neighbors and teachers in Delaware, Colleen persevered and paid her way through college by driving an ambulance.
