As you know, abortion rights in Iowa are threatened like never before.

* Yet another attempt to ban abortion at around six weeks in Iowa has been put on temporary hold <[link removed]> by the courts, and it will likely end up in front of the Iowa Supreme Court.

* An effort to change the Iowa Constitution <[link removed]> to state that Iowans have NO right to an abortion is moving right along.

To prevent Iowa from becoming a state where all abortions are illegal, we are building a network of volunteers, the Reproductive Freedom Action Team, <[link removed]> now with more than 9,000 people in every part of the state, with that number growing daily.

Educate yourself. Motivate yourself. Check out our new website <[link removed]> about the team and the status of abortion rights in Iowa.

And help us spread the word. Please forward this to a friend or family member or two who might be interested.

A majority of Iowans – 61 percent – support access to abortion. Help us mobilize the majority so that politicians can't take away this important right.
