It is vital that the United States stand with Israel and the Jewish community. Less than one month ago, Joe Biden unfroze $6 billion for Iran, the largest state sponsor of terror, and now Israel is once again under attack. Time and time again, Biden’s weakness and appeasement of Iran and some Democrats' anti-Israel, antisemitic rhetoric have emboldened our enemies. We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks against the people of Israel, who have every right to defend themselves against these unprovoked attacks. What you need to know: Our hearts are heavy and our thoughts and prayers remain with our friends in Israel, one of America’s strongest allies. The Republican Party stands with Israel and the Israeli people’s right to defend themselves against these unprovoked attacks. President Biden must condemn the vile anti-Israel rhetoric coming from some Democrat Members of Congress. This Administration has failed to stand up to our enemies and our allies are questioning whether we are reliable. Wood gave a RPA update to members at the 3rd Congressional District meeting. Bidenflation Isn't Going Away Biden and his bad economic policies continue to make life more difficult and expensive for Americans. What you need to know: The latest Consumer Price Index data shows year-over-year inflation, coming in higher than expected at 3.7% and remaining more than twice the rate compared to when Biden took office. Inflation has risen by 17.7% since Biden took office – with Americans still reeling from the lasting effects of inflation. Real wages remain lower than when Biden first took office. Median household income has fallen for two straight years under Biden and remains below pre-pandemic levels. Americans are suffering from the lasting effects of Biden’s historic inflation, with many unable to pay bills, save for retirement, or afford rent. 60% of Americans report living paycheck-to-paycheck. 56% of Americans say they’re not on track to comfortably retire. Bidenomics has cost the middle class $2.4 trillion since March 2022. The average middle-class household has lost over $33,000 in real wealth in just the past year. Low-income Americans are being hit the hardest by inflation according to studies by the New York Fed, Dallas Fed, and the Urban Institute . Americans are increasingly borrowing to cover daily expenses, finding their regular income is no longer enough to make ends meet. Credit card, auto loan, and consumer loan delinquencies are at their highest levels since the Great Recession — and could go even higher. U.S. average gas prices currently sit at $3.65 per gallon, which is $1.25 higher than when Biden became president. The typical American family is spending $709 more a month on the same goods and services as they were two years ago. American families are seeing higher prices for virtually everything, and they know exactly who to blame: Biden and Democrats. Just 33% of Americans approve of Biden's handling of the economy. 55% of Americans believe the economy is getting worse and 64% believe the country is on the wrong track. 78% of Americans say the economy is in bad shape. Half of Americans say their financial situation is worsening while only 35% of Americans approve of Biden's handling of inflation. The bottom line: Republicans now have a 21-point advantage on which political party better handles the economy – the largest lead in NBC News polling history.
