Arkansas Fights Back Against China
On Tuesday, Republican members of the Arkansas General Assembly joined Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she announced the steps Arkansas is taking to fight back against communist China. Act 636 of the 94th General Assembly, sponsored by State Senator Blake Johnson (R-Corning) and State Representative DeAnne Vaught (R-Horatio), allows for the clawback of foreign-party land ownership. The Chinese government-owned company, Syngenta, will be forced to sale the their former property in Craighead County which was used to develop seed technologies.
