We all know that the 2024 election is going to be the most consequential of our lifetime. You better believe I’m going to be doing everything I can do to keep Trump away from the White House.

But as we wrap up 2023, I’ve got three races down ballot that are on my mind. They are not the only three mind you, but these three races will be critical to the Democrats’ chances of holding the Senate and the House. These are also elected leaders that I know very well, and we need to fight like hell to keep them in Congress. They bring sanity to that place.

I count each of these former colleagues as a rare breed in Congress. They’re folks who always prioritize what’s best for their constituents and for their country. They never give in to the mud-slinging and they’re not afraid to work with the other side of the aisle.

In short, if you’re looking to support candidates down ballot and help Democrats take back the House and keep the Senate, then these elected leaders are a great place to start.

If we re-elect Senators Brown and Tester, then we’ve got a great chance at keeping MAGA Republicans out of the Senate majority. And while we’ve got to go on the offensive in the House, including in Alabama’s new district, that means Terri will be under fire as Alabama Republicans try to claw back a seat. She’s a fighter, and we’ve got to do everything we can to help her too.
