You can rely on me to work hard. I will listen to every voter I possibly can in this campaign. I will visit every city and town possible across the state. I will show up in communities that many Democrats ignore, and in communities where voter turnout is low. Then I will do it again and again and again. And at the end of this campaign, I will bring a new kind of leadership to the U.S. Senate: pragmatic, sensible, fresh.
But no one — not me or any other candidate out there — can win a U.S. Senate race all alone. Running statewide is a whole different ballgame than running in a congressional seat. It's something we can only accomplish as a team, with people all across the country coming together to defend this seat.
So far tens of thousands of people have donated to this campaign. It means so much to me that supporters would take the time to do that. But now I am relying on you to make your first online donation. Because before this month ends, we need to stay on pace to meet the fundraising goals that we've set for our campaign.
