Samantha Boyd | KARK Read the Article Here Biden Impeachment Inquiry This week, House Republicans voted to formalize the impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The mounting evidence against President Biden cannot be ignored. House Republicans do not take this inquiry lightly and have spent the past year following the facts and the money. What you need to know: The House has compiled a record of credible evidence pointing towards corrupt conduct of President Biden, his family, and White House officials. According to the House, this is what has already been revealed: Bank records reportedly show the Bidens sold Joe and the Biden “brand” around the world to enrich the Biden family. From 2014 to 2019, Biden family members and their affiliated companies received over $15 million from foreign companies and foreign nationals in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and China. There are at least 22 examples of Joe Biden speaking or meeting with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates. Biden and the White House have lied at least 16 times about his involvement in his family’s business schemes. A credible FBI source relayed information about an alleged bribe Joe Biden accepted during his term as vice president. Last week, investigators released information reportedly showing a pattern of payments to Joe Biden from Hunter Biden’s business account—an account that was funded by payments from China. Last month, the House Oversight Committee released a report showing a money trail from a Chinese Communist Party-linked company to Joe Biden. Investigators released an interim report detailing the special treatment Hunter Biden received from Joe Biden’s Justice Department. This evidence runs counter to Biden’s repeated claims that “he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings.” There are phone calls, emails, photos, texts, visitor logs, a voicemail, and witness testimony indicting Joe Biden’s knowledge and involvement. The formal impeachment inquiry will allow House Republicans to conduct further interviews and issue more subpoenas for documents and information despite stonewalling from the White House. Special Counsel David Weiss admitted to the House he "wasn’t granted" special attorney authority in the Hunter investigation by the Justice Department despite requesting that status. Just this week, Hunter Biden refused to comply with a lawful subpoena. Even Joe Biden agrees, “subpoenaed witnesses have got to show up” and those who defy Congressional subpoenas should be “criminally” prosecuted. The bottom line: The American people deserve transparency and accountability, and the formal impeachment inquiry sets forth specific procedures that will allow the House to exercise its Constitutional power.
