If you’re anything like us here on Team Slotkin, then you are planning to kick off the New Year by watching our Michigan Wolverines go head-to-head against Alabama in the Rose Bowl. This is the 21st time in history the University of Michigan will play a Rose Bowl and the first time in 16 years (!) we’re headed to sunny Pasadena.
(Though, since Elissa is the Representative for Michigan State, it’s important to note that the last time the State of Michigan was represented in the Rose Bowl was when the MSU Spartans pulled off a win against Stanford in 2014 – Go Green!)
We know that, win or lose, the team is going to make Michiganders proud, and we’ll be cheering for them every step of the way. But before we can gear up for a day of football and screaming at our TVs – we have to hit our important end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
Much like the Wolverines, we’re going to rise to the occasion and leave it all on the field – but it’s going to take this entire team doing what we can. So, to celebrate Michigan making the Rose Bowl (and to help us hit our important end-of-quarter fundraising goal), we’re going to shamelessly ask:
Can you chip in $16 to help us celebrate the first time the University of Michigan will be in the Rose Bowl in 16 long years?
