However, there's still a lot of work to be done. Plastic production continues to soar, while greenwashing claims from top polluters make responsible consumer choices increasingly difficult. Meanwhile, existing plastic continues to fragment into smaller micro- and nanoplastics that are being discovered throughout our bodies.
The good news is that we're up for the challenge. Thanks to you and your support this past giving season, we raised more than $180,000 that will directly support our scientific research, advocacy efforts, and community initiatives to reduce the harm of plastic pollution on people and the planet.
