When Sarah Huckabee Sanders took office, she promised to bring BOLD,
conservative leadership to Arkansas – and that’s exactly what she did her first
year in office.



In just one year, Governor Sanders:

📈 Attracted more than $1 BILLION in proposed economic investments

💰 Delivered $250 million in individual tax cuts and $58 million in corporate
tax cuts

🚗 Traveled 16,222 miles in Arkansas to cover 264 events across 38 counties



But here’s a closer look at what the Governor accomplished in 2023…


DEFENSE OF INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES

As soon as Governor Sanders took office, she signed an executive order
repealing unconstitutional COVID mask and vaccine mandates, ensuring personal
freedom and responsibility for ALL Arkansans.

PUSHING BACK AGAINST BIDEN


 

President Joe Biden tried to spin his far-left, radical policies that harm
every single American, but Governor Sanders set the record straight as she
delivered the GOP response to Joe Biden’s State of the Union.

“In the radical left’s America, Washington taxes you and lights your
hard-earned money on fire, but you get crushed with high gas prices, empty
grocery shelves, and our children are taught to hate one another on account of
their race, but not to love one another or our great country…



“And while you reap the consequences of their failures, the Biden
administration seems more interested in woke fantasies




than the hard reality Americans face every day. Most Americans simply want to
live their lives in freedom and peace, but we are under attack in a left-wing
culture war we didn’t start and never wanted to fight.



“Every day, we are told that we must partake in their rituals, salute their
flags, and worship their false idols…all while big government colludes with Big
Tech to strip away the most American thing there is—your freedom of speech.



“That’s not normal. It’s crazy, and it’s wrong.”

EDUCATE, NOT INDOCTRINATE


 



The Governor signed Arkansas LEARNS – the most comprehensive education reform
in generations – into law.



Under Arkansas LEARNS:

📚 Parents are empowered to choose the school that’s best for their child.

🍎 Teachers received a much-deserved pay raise.

❌ Critical Race Theory was OUTLAWED.





TOUGH ON CRIME


 

Governor Sanders announced her public safety plan, Safer, Stronger Arkansas,
in March, which backs the blue, supports victims, protects communities, and
rejects the failed status quo.





The Governor’s plan…
🚨Ensured violent, repeat offenders remained behind bars and eliminated parole
for the most heinous offenses.

🚔 Increased pay for corrections officers and ensured overtime pay for state
troopers.

👮‍♀️ Established the Victims’ Bill of Rights via a constitutional amendment.

🧠 Created a mental health pilot program and provided inmates with re-entry
and workforce training.




KICKING OUT THE CCP

In October, Governor Sanders enforced Arkansas state law prohibiting foreign
adversaries from owning land in the Natural State.



As a result, the Governor kicked CCP-linked Syngenta out of Arkansas and fined
them for violating state law.



Shortly later, the company paid the $280,000 fine, a WIN for Arkansas farmers.






In December, Governor Sanders’ Administration asked Attorney General Tim
Griffin to investigate two more CCP-linked businesses that own Arkansas land.
