In 2016, Michigan was the single closest state in the presidential race, with Donald Trump winning here by just 10,704 votes, or about .2%.
2024 is shaping up to be another pivotal year here, with both control of the White House and the Senate likely being decided by Michigan. Here’s a headline that caught my eye:
Public polls show that both our race and the race for the presidency are in a dead heat. Odds are, if we’ve lost our race, Donald Trump has won here in Michigan AND Republicans have flipped the Senate.
