What better way to spend your time during the month of love than partnering with organizations you adore to build community and collect donations for fellow organizations in need? AAF and our friends at Pro-Choice Ohio [[link removed]] , The Aggie Fund [[link removed]] , and Toledo Abortion Center Escorts [[link removed]] organized a Toledo Repro Health Happy Hour to do just that! It was a night of community learning and crafting as we invited folks to watch the incredible Plan C Movie [[link removed]] , and then made bracelets and buttons and got our zen on decorating Liberal Jane [[link removed]] coloring sheets. All proceeds from the evening went to benefit local reproductive health org, Solace Health and Wellness [[link removed]] ! Our best Galentine’s Day yet!

WHILE FOLKS STRUGGLE TO FEED AND CLOTHE THEIR FAMILIES, FAKE CLINICS RAKED IN OVER A BILLION DOLLARS IN FUNDING
What doesn’t give us all of the lovey dovey feels is learning that fake clinics made almost ONE AND A HALF BILLION DOLLARS the year Roe fell [[link removed]] ! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?! Thanks to the work of the Reproductive Health and Freedom Watch , we also know that number includes at least $344 million that came from YOUR TAX DOLLARS. The only options now are to find an abortion fund to donate to, or we will rage scream into oblivion! Maybe do both tho?

MISSOURI: DEFINITELY AND TOTALLY NOT RIGGING THE GAME
Meanwhile, add Missouri to the list ‘states with potential ballot measures that conservatives are trying to undermine’. Missouri lawmakers have proposed moving away from a ‘simple majority’ approval for their amendment process to a ‘concurrent majority’ [[link removed]] requiring approval in a majority of MO congressional districts. That’s no big deal if you love gerrymandering and think it’s totally cool that 20% of voters could defeat an amendment this way! Everything is just peachy keen over there.
