It’s the most wonderful time of the year…ABORTION PROVIDER APPRECIATION WEEK! Yes, not just a day but a whole ass week because they deserve it AND MORE! We spent time this week talking about how much we love abortion providers during the screening of No One Asked You, the documentary that has followed AAF’s work for years, at the Athena Film Festival in NYC. Now, join us and so many of our partners this week as we double down and absolutely scream from the rooftops how much we love providers!

FRANCE: L’ABORTION, S'IL VOUS PLAÎT!
We are feeling the inspiration from France, who overwhelmingly voted to revise their constitution to guarantee their freedom to access abortion care [[link removed]] ! How can we not swoon over a country that literally says abortion in their constitution? France just has that certain je ne sais quoi , if by je ne sais quoi we actually mean that certain ‘ fuck your abortion bans ’ vibe.

ADD ‘MIFEPRISTONE’ TO THE WORLD’S LONGEST RECEIPTS
Can’t beat this: we finally get to see the abortion pill, mifepristone, dispensed at two of the largest pharmacy chains [[link removed]] out there- CVS and Walgreens! While it isn’t perfect (it will only be dispensed in states with legal abortion and pharmacists are still able to deny people medication based on their own religious beliefs), it is a huge step that completely infuriates anti-abortion extremists and makes abortion more accessible to people- win win!
