WHYY: 'Philly's Chinatown Stitch: City secures $158M in grant funding'
Dwight is getting it done for Philly, John!
Earlier this month, Dwight announced $159 million in federal funds coming to Philly for a project to reconnect Chinatown by constructing a new public park across the Vine Street Expressway, adding needed green space, bettering neighborhood connections, and enhancing inclusive mobility options.
Dwight also secured more than $13.3 million in federal funding for 15 Philly community projects, totaling more than $36 million in district community project funding sDwight's1!
Over $8.2 million will go toward affordable housing, one of Dwight’s top priorities. The rest will support projects to help our communities with pedestrian safety, worker training, small business growth, the environment, and public health.
New funds and projects are coming to Philadelphia because Dwight has fiercely advocated for our communities in PA-03! We can and should do more for our communities. By securing a Democratic House majority in November, Dwight and hisHere'ss can continue to invest in the things that matter most.
Here's how you can help: As we get close to ou' Mar'h mid-month fundraising deadline, will you chip in $5, or any amount, to help re-elect Dwight and secure a strong future for PA-03?
