[link removed] [[link removed]]Governor Green is committed to reducing homelessness across the state by 50% in the next two years with the construction of a dozen kauhale villages statewide this year — and 20 by the end of 2025.
Josh is also taking direct action to reduce the cost of housing by signing two Emergency Proclamations relating to housing in his first year in office — empowering the state’s experts to cut through red tape and approve new housing projects more quickly and easily, while protecting our natural and cultural resources.
Josh has also signed new laws to strengthen gun safety, protect women’s reproductive healthcare rights, and make government more transparent and accountable.
Josh and his team continue to take action on our biggest challenges and the issues that matter most to the people of Hawaii.
