John,
I need you to know three things about why this election is different for rooting out corruption in New Jersey:
1️⃣ With this week's news, Democrats are uniting around a U.S. Senate candidate committed to progress and transparency—a fantastic step for our state to take in replacing Senator Bob Menendez.
I've seen firsthand how New Jersey's anti-corruption coalition is a powerful force at the ballot box, and we're working every day to grow the strength of that movement.
2️⃣ Since being racially profiled, shot at, and beaten by bad cops as a teenager, I've made it my life's work to stand by my values and work to reform the system from the inside.
That's why I'm running against party-switching Jeff Van Drew who voted to reject the 2020 election results, flip-flopped to undermine reproductive rights, and paid six figures to a convicted fraudster to manipulate ballots in his recent election.
