The government is using the coronavirus pandemic to wreak havoc on our Constitution! They tell us to stay home, and not to work, now they tell us we cannot assemble in a church!

As Christians, we have a duty to uphold our faith and defend it when necessary. We are granted certain rights and freedoms in the U.S. Constitution, one of which is the Freedom of Assembly.

Louisiana Pastor Tony Spell has stood alone as community leaders, local officials, and even the Governor has threatened him with fines, incarceration, and criminal sanctions. At one time the church's water was cut off as an attempt to force him into submission, but he would not yield to tyranny.
 
I have always stood up for our Christian faith and our Constitutional freedoms, and I must continue to do so!

“I’m glad to help Pastor Spell in his fight to preserve our religious liberty," Moore said in a statement to The Hill.

"Pastor Spell is a man of courage and conviction and knows, as I do that government cannot interfere with our acknowledgment of the sovereign God. What is happening to Pastor Spell is the most egregious violation of separation of church and state.”

Groups like Planned Parenthood have already stepped in to make abortions an exemption for elective surgeries and Freedom From Religion Foundation has threatened governors and pastors who continue to endorse faith during these times.

We must stand our ground and not give up! We know that faith has always sustained us during hard times, and we must  constantly look to God to deliver us from pestilence, plague, and now tyranny.
