We’ve got some really good news for you today, and then we’re going to ask you to make a contribution to Alex Padilla.

Ok, here’s the good news: Today, President Biden expanded the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument and the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. This is a BIG deal for California, and it’s been one of Alex’s priorities since joining the Senate.

This move will protect hundreds of thousands of acres of wildlife, and provide access to green space and the outdoors for the almost 15 million people in the area.

That’s why Alex introduced legislation like the PUBLIC Lands Act, and it’s why last year he worked with local environmental and tribal groups pushing President Biden to make this decision.

Two things are true here.

FIRST: This was a MASSIVE win for the environment, for tribal communities, and for the thousands of low-income families who now have access to nature.

SECOND: There is no chance that this would have happened with Donald Trump as President.

We’ve shown that with a Democratic majority in the Senate and Joe Biden as president, we can do big things to protect the planet and make life better for Californians.

But our Senate majority is only a single seat, and polls have shown Donald Trump leading in important swing states. So we are asking for your help.
