We have an exciting update, team.
Earlier this month, we told you about Michael’s work to appoint judges to Colorado’s federal court. In the last three years, Michael has prioritized finding diverse, qualified candidates to recommend for Colorado’s federal court — and he has been incredibly successful in getting them nominated and confirmed by the Senate.
As of yesterday, the Senate has officially confirmed 200 judges since Biden took office. Not only is this more than Trump or Obama at this point in their terms, but it’s also the most diverse slate of judicial nominees under any president.
These judges will make critical decisions about our fundamental rights, the rule of law, and our democracy.
Our country will be stronger for having federal benches that look like us — and Michael’s work for Colorado was a vital piece of this progress.
With your support, Michael can continue building a more just, equal country. Will you help him protect our Senate majority this November by chipping in now? [[link removed]]
Thank you for your support.

Subject: Judges matter.
Friend,
Justice delayed is justice denied.
When judicial vacancies are left open on Colorado's federal court, sitting judges are forced to take on a large number of cases, and defendants are left waiting for a free and fair trial.
In the last three years, Michael has worked hard to address this issue by filling open seats on Colorado's federal bench with highly qualified, diverse judges.
Because of Michael’s work with Senator John Hickenlooper, President Biden has appointed five highly qualified, diverse judges to the seven-judge bench — and Colorado is no longer in a “judicial emergency.”

With these nominations, Michael made it a point to find the best candidates with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
He's worked to put more women and people of color on Colorado's federal bench and to recommend nominees from all parts of Colorado with experience in different areas of the law.
For the first time, Colorado will have a district judge based outside of Denver. Judge Gordon P. Gallagher, from the Western Slope, will be stationed in Grand Junction. Upon her confirmation, Judge Charlotte Sweeney became the first openly LGBT woman to serve as a federal judge west of the Mississippi River. And Judge Kato Crews is the only active African American judge on Colorado's District Court.
Thanks to Michael’s hard work, Colorado has become one of the most effective states at filling judicial vacancies. Your grassroots support helps Michael continue to make progress for Colorado. Whether it’s $5, $10, or $50, will you chip in to support his campaign now? [[link removed]]
