Arrest of ISIS border infiltrators comes after exact warning from Sen. Katie
Britt

After eight Tajikistani nationals with ties to ISIS were apprehended by U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task
Force, U.S. Senator Katie is reviving her call for Senate leadership to
organize a full briefing for lawmakers on the threat of ISIS terrorism leaking
into the country through a vulnerable southern border.

In recent days, Britt’s fears have been fully realized after ICE reported that
it arrested eight suspected ISIS-K terrorists who entered America illegally by
way of the border. The arrests took place in New York, Philadelphia, and Los
Angeles.

Britt is reiterating her call for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and
Democrat leadership take the threat seriously and schedule a briefing to
immediately analyze the true scope of the issue.

Katie Britt says Democrats blocked her IVF bill because ‘they would lose a key
scare tactic’

<[link removed]>

A bill cosponsored by Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., to protect in vitro
fertilization procedures was blocked by Senate Democrats on Wednesday because
it would deprive them of political ammunition in November, Alabama’s junior
senator claimed.

The bill and several competing versions were a response to the controversial
Alabama Supreme Court decision that ruled frozen embryos are children and have
the same rights as people under Alabama law.

Britt argued that Democrats believe they would have one less issue to run on
if legislation protecting IVF passes before the upcoming elections.

Britt on IVF: ‘While Democrats prioritize scaring families, Republicans will
continue to fight for families’

U.S. Senator Katie Britt addressed the Senate floor on Wednesday with Sens.
Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Roger Marshall (R-KS) in support of the IVF Protection Act.
The bill, which aims to ensure nationwide access to in vitro fertilization, was
blocked by Senate Democrats.

Wednesday, Sen. Britt passionately spoke about the joy of motherhood and the
crucial role IVF plays in helping aspiring parents experience the miracle of
life. “As a mom, I know firsthand that there is no greater joy in this life
than that of being a mother. IVF helps aspiring parents across our nation
experience the miracle of life, and start and grow a family. That’s why I
strongly support continued nationwide IVF access,” Britt said.

She highlighted the pro-family nature of IVF access and its importance to
millions facing infertility. She pointed out that about 2% of U.S. babies are
born via IVF. Britt stressed the need for continued nationwide IVF access,
noting the millions born with IVF’s help in recent decades. She also
acknowledged Alabama’s swift action earlier this year to protect IVF access.
