John,
I need to share three critical things with you:
The debate and its aftermath. If you somehow missed Thursday night’s presidential debate, this line from President Trump sums it up: “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don’t think he did, either.” After Joe Biden’s debacle, you know how desperate and dirty the Democrats’ campaign tactics are about to get against every Republican running for office this year. Democratic candidates are cornered and wounded which makes them incredibly dangerous. Brace yourself.
Early this week, the hyper-partisan Democrat-controlled Board of Elections in North Carolina blocked Robert Kennedy Jr., Cornell West and the Constitution Party candidates from appearing on North Carolina’s presidential ballot even though tens of thousands of registered North Carolina voters had signed petitions to put them on the ballot. I’m voting for Trump, but it is an outrageous violation of our fellow North Carolinians’ rights to block legitimate candidates who met the signature requirements to seek office. Roy Cooper, Josh Stein and my opponent, Jeff Jackson, are complicit in their silence to this disgraceful effort by the Democrats’ handpicked board functionaries. The Trump-Biden debate explains why the Democrats did it, but I hope the candidates who were illegally deprived of access to the ballot sue the elections board and the Democratic politicians responsible for this.
Speaking of my opponent, we have a huge fundraising deadline coming up TOMORROW, on June 30th. So many of you have been so generous – I can’t thank you enough. But we are up against the Democrats’ national fundraising machine that is pouring money from San Francisco, New York and Chicago into my race. Democrats’ control of the AG’s office is what allows them to pull illegal stunts like blocking candidates from being on the ballot without accountability. They know I will put an end to their schemes once and for all and they will do anything to stop me.
You may have given the maximum contribution already. If you have, thank you. God Bless you. Jo and I truly appreciate your friendship and support. If you haven’t already contributed the maximum amount of $12,800 per couple or $6,400 per individual, please give as much as you can today. Tomorrow’s fundraising deadline is the most important of the entire campaign.
I really need your help.
Thank you.
Dan
