Pennsylvania’s always a battleground state, but this year it means more. In fact, the entire fate of our democracy could very well be in the hands of Pennsylvania voters.

My friend Bob Casey is up for re-election once again this November. Bob’s held this seat since 2007. He knows the job, knows what Pennsylvanians want, and has no problem standing up for what our party believes in when in Washington. He wants to protect women’s rights, build a better Pennsylvania, and keep this country moving in the right direction. Simply put, he’s a helluva Senator, and America can’t afford to lose him.

Bob’s opponent Dave McCormick only has two constituents: gigantic corporations and Donald Trump. Not Pennsylvanians. The ultra-rich watch out for the ultra-rich, and we all know this is what Dave McCormick would be doing if he gets elected. Giving breaks to billion dollar companies and pushing Trump’s“Project 2025” agenda. That’s the last thing America needs.

What America does need is another term of Bob Casey, the man who has spent his 17 years in the Senate passing critical legislation for our children, our environment, and our rights. Bob doesn’t mess around. He gets things done. As we all know, that’s becoming somewhat of a rarity in Washington these days.

Running against millionaires is tough. McCormick has had the ability to self fund a good portion of his campaign. I’m talking at least $14 million of his own money. In fact, as we speak, he’s running a $30 million ad campaign with negative ads about Bob all across Pennsylvania.

It’s hard to compete with the mega rich, but we have something he doesn’t: a grassroots base that won’t rest until the right guy is elected. When we come together and help one of our workhorses like Bob Casey win, we’re a force to be reckoned with. I can’t stress enough how important this one is, folks. It’s the definition of a must win.
