President James Madison, known as the Chief Architect of the United States Constitution and a staunch advocate for religious liberty would be shocked to see our Country today.
Churches remain closed and pastors are threatened with fines and even jail for holding services. As governors and civil magistrates dictate which businesses can operate and which cannot, many have allowed abortion clinics and liquor stores to remain open and deemed "essential," while denying that status to the House of Worship.
New York Mayor Bill De Blasio even threatened to close churches "permanently" if they do not shut their doors and cease holding services.
It's time for Conservatives to fight back and that's exactly what I am doing!
Social distancing, "shelter in place," and wearing masks in public seem to be more important than our right to peacefully assemble and pray for healing!
James Madison warned us that it was "proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberty". It was, he explained, the "first duty of citizenship and one of the noblest characteristics of the late revolution".
Today, Madison would be labeled as a "Christian White Nationalist" and "a greater threat" to America "than radical Islam".
America has sustained many pandemics in the past including the 1849 cholera killer which killed over 150,000. In fact, President Zachary Taylor proclaimed a National Day of Prayer on July 3, 1849, in which he asked our people to "assemble in their respective places of worship... to implore the Almighty in His own good time to stay the destroying hand which is now lifted up against us." It was reported that in August, the death rate had dropped significantly.

Have we forgotten that powerful Friend or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance?
Evidently, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has forgotten. In a statement on April 14th, he said, "The number is down because we brought it down." "God did not do that. Faith did not do that."
Our loss of religious liberty is only the tip of the iceberg.
On April 28, 2020, The Washington Times headlines read, "Coronavirus hype biggest political hoax in history" in which Dr. Dan Erickson was quoted saying, "when I write up my death report I'm being pressured to add COVID... We're being pressured in-house to add COVID to the diagnostic list when we think it has nothing to do with the actual cause of death".
Unless we stand together now, we will set a dangerous precedent which will be used to further deprive us of our most sacred and unalienable rights! ([link removed])

Even now the U.S. Government is in talks with Facebook, Google, and a wide variety of tech companies to use location data gleaned from (cell) phones to combat the novel coronavirus.
Yes, James Madison would be shocked, and so should we!
As President Reagan so aptly observed,
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
