Seoul, South Korea
It's been just five years since abortion was decriminalized on the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.
The legalization of abortion has been an unmitigated disaster, as the country now has one of the highest abortion rates and lowest birth rates in the world.
But 40 Days for Life participants are working hard to save lives and souls in Seoul. The Catholic Diocese of Seoul, the Knights of Columbus, the Franciscans, and a group of pro-life doctors form the backbone of the local vigil.
"We support and interact with each other in other areas of the pro-life movement," wrote the Seoul leadership team.
