As we celebrate National 4‑H Week—a week of looking back on the path we've paved while also looking to the future with energy and optimism for what's to come—it's also the perfect time to share our new initiative: Beyond Ready.
The road ahead may be challenging for our youth in this rapidly changing world, yet 4‑H'ers are succeeding. Data shows that compared to their peers, they're:
- 2X more likely to have the goal of being a leader
- 3X more likely to participate in community service
- 2X more likely to report living life with intentionality and purpose
Our mission with the Beyond Ready initiative is to grow from reaching six million youth annually to 10 million youth prepared to tackle what's ahead—in school, in work, and in life—with the 4‑H community by their side along the way.
