Last month, the New York Post [[link removed]] listed Nate’s campaign as one of the four races in this election that could “make Dem Gretchen Whitmer a lame-duck governor” through the end of 2026.
We can’t let this happen – we’ve made so much economic progress for working families while Nate and Gov. Whitmer have been in office:

- Expanded the Earned Income Tax Credit from 6% to 30%.
- Repealed the “retirement tax”
- Secured funding for the Lakeside Mall Redevelopment
- Created a property tax deduction for disabled veteran renters

2023 marked the first time in 40 years that Democrats in Michigan held both the Governor’s office and the state legislature – none of those accomplishments above would have been possible without such a resounding electoral victory. We need Nate to win this election to allow Gov. Whitmer to keep signing pro-economy, pro-worker, and pro-savings laws that will cement a better standard of living in Michigan.

This is why so many of the most prominent labor unions and economic groups in our state have already endorsed Nate.
