Last week at the Vice Presidential Debate, JD Vance tried to backtrack on his previous stance on reproductive rights. But he’s not fooling us, and he certainly isn’t fooling Virginians.

When he ran for Senate in 2022, his website read, “I am 100 percent pro-life,” and he made it clear that he was in support of a nationwide ban on abortion. Now, he’s saying that Donald Trump and the GOP need to “win back trust” on this issue, but why would we trust the same people who promised to overturn Roe v. Wade and then bragged about it actually happening?

Virginia voters won’t trust former President Trump and JD Vance to protect our reproductive rights. Virginians know that our fundamental rights are on the ballot – not just this November but also in our Governor’s race in November 2025.
