In the “ad,” I talk about how, as mayor, you have to humble yourself. You have to listen to the other side and bring people together. As a union organizer and supervisor, I’ve brought diverse interests like business and labor together to make progress that benefits all San Franciscans–and that’s when San Francisco is at its best.
Getting this ad in front of the San Francisco voters who will decide this election will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. We are well on our way there, but can’t let up now.

San Francisco has always been a welcoming place that embraces people from all different backgrounds. It’s why so much innovation starts in our city. But having success doesn’t mean leaving other people behind, and today, San Francisco has gotten away from being a city that everyone can afford to live in.
As mayor, I’ll fight for a city that works for all San Franciscans. But in order to get there, we need to win on November 5. And in order to win, we need to get our new ad in front of as many voters as possible.
