John,

Abortion is on the ballot Tuesday, November 5.

Abortion has taken center stage in the presidential, congressional, state, and even local races. Many of the candidates for these offices seek to enshrine unlimited abortion rights, on demand, up to and during birth, and funded by taxpayers--both in the states and across America. Others wish to protect life at all stages. Get educated and VOTE FOR LIFE!

Abortion is also on the ballot directly, as voters in ten states will determine whether to enshrine a right to abortion in their state constitutions. Some of these amendments would be even worse for moms and babies than Roe v. Wade was! Many of these proposed state constitutional amendments are purposefully vague, allowing for unlimited abortion at all stages and removing states’ rights to pass any laws governing or restricting abortion in any way.

Whatever state you live in, find out when, where, and how to vote at:

You never know what emergency might pop up on Election Day, so don't risk your vote. Learn about your state's early voting rules and cast your ballot for LIFE before November 5.

40 Days for Life's Institute of Law & Justice has provided an interactive breakdown of state constitutional abortion referenda. Click the map or visit:

You can then click on each of the states where abortion is on the ballot directly for full details on your state's proposed amendment.

Again, make a plan to vote pro-life on or before November 5--and encourage your pro-life friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, and classmates and everyone you know to do the same!

Missouri

Missouri has had some of America's strongest pro-life legal protections for unborn babies--both before and after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

But those protections could be wiped away by Proposition 3, which would make abortion a constitutional right in the Show Me State.

Matt Britton and April Wood from the 40 Days for Life Institute of Law & Justice recently spoke at a prayer rally in Columbia, where Kathy, the 2024 40 Days for Life leader of the year, has long stood vigil in front of Planned Parenthood.

With all hands on deck to defeat Proposition 3, Missouri has two NEW vigils this fall.

Prayer warriors at the new campaign in Springfield report passersby stopping to pray with them.

Meanwhile, in Rolla, a woman told vigil participants that their explanation persuaded her to vote "no" on the abortion amendment!

"Many folks stopped to offer food and drinks and thank Steve and me for being there!" reported Kathy. "They were so excited that 40 Days had come to Rolla."

Tucson, Arizona

Nearly 100 prayer warriors turned out for a rally in Southern Arizona, where Proposition 139 is on the ballot.

"We heard from local pro-life leaders about sidewalk counseling, abortion recovery, and local pro-life issues facing Arizona," wrote Laura, the Tucson 40 Days for Life leader.

The team also launched a church representative initiative to mobilize churches in the community.

"We are seeing a record number of participants signing up for hours," Laura said. "We are excited to see how the Lord will move in Tucson."

"There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?”

--John 6:9

Lord, you multiplied the meager offering of one boy to feed a hungry crowd. Please do the same with our humble prayers. Multiply the fruits of these 40 days. Use our own resources to glorify your name. Grant us the humility to know our limitations, the wisdom to turn to you in moments of distress, and the grace to carry out your will with trust and courage. Amen.

For life,

Shawn Carney
