Friend,

We didn’t get the results we wanted in my bid for re-election this year. And while I know this is a disappointment for all who supported our campaign, I am so grateful for all of your efforts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart – your support got the word out about creating good-paying jobs and strengthening public education while helping drive thousands of voters to the polls.

It was a profound honor to serve the 58th District in Lansing and I’m proud of all we accomplished together from increasing funding for our K-12 education to expanding the earned income tax credit.

I will continue to remain engaged with our local communities in driving progress toward a better Michigan. I hope to stay in touch with you all.

In the meantime, I wish Ron Robinson success in representing our district in Lansing.
