The Green Party envisions a new St. Louis where citizens can easily make most trips by bus, train, trolley, bicycle, and walking. Expanding healthy and more efficient forms of transportation would enormously improve the City’s air quality, reduce traffic injuries and deaths, and lower the incidence of heart disease and diabetes. Reduced automobile dependency will mean less traffic congestion, shorter commute times, and fewer stress-related illnesses.

Speakers:

Jerome Bauer, Missouri Green Party Disability Caucus, Universal Design for An Accessible 2 Hour City. Enjoys walking but does not want to be run over.

John George Bauer-Buis, Railway Advocate, Why Do We Need Public Transit?

Chris Poehler, Bi-State Director of Green Line Expansion Project

Mr. and Mrs. Alexander with the Jeff-Vander-Lou (JVL) Neighborhood
Association and other St. Louis Community representatives present St. Louis Communities (Opposed to the proposed Metrolink Green Line Route.)

Jeanette Mott Oxford, Getting Call-a-Ride Working Again for Everybody:
