On December 3, 2024, people from all corners of the world will come together for GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to building human connection and strengthening communities.

The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) is honored to be part of this movement and calls on our relatives, allies, and community members to support our ongoing work to break the cycles of violence in Native and tribal communities.

By joining this day of generosity, you help show that in times of uncertainty, the power of giving can unite our peoples, heal our communities, and honor the resilience of Indigenous cultures. Together, we can create a stronger, safer future for all.

This GivingTuesday, donations raised will support

these focus areas of our work:

Raise funds for the little ones’ holiday book drive.

• We believe every child deserves safety and the gift of learning. You have the opportunity to provide Indigenous youth residing in shelters and ICWA resource families the gift of reading this holiday season. Support a child’s learning, imagination, and safety today!

Raise funds for advocates' support initiatives.

• We believe every advocate is essential and critical to breaking cycles of violence. You have the opportunity to support and uplift the capacity of compassionate advocates who provide holistic care to Survivors and community. Good ally lead by example, are you ready to support advocates break the cycles of violence?

Raise funds to strengthen our training for advocates,

service providers, first responders, and community.

• We believe education and awareness begins the journey of cycle breaking. You have the opportunity to aid us in enhancing our trainings provided to tribal communities, which will continue to build capacity for our participants grounded in trauma informed care. Training begins the process of system change, are you willing to support the training initiatives that move forward the realities of cycle breaking?
