AGREE and our allies have accomplished a lot this year: we hired new Energy Advisors to help people access funding for clean energy and healthy homes, we've blocked bad legislation that would have allowed corporations to burn more gas and dump nuclear waste in the Hudson River, and more.

But as we head into the next, we're looking to do even more. So a little ahead of Giving Tuesday, we wanted to ask you to help us get a head start on our next goal. As you may know, AGREE is involved in a variety of public hearings around energy efficiency and renewable energy, including a major upcoming over the state's Energy Plan.

If this sounds like preparing for and attending a lot of hearings, it is. Right now, we're just $2400 away from our $10,000 goal for the year, which is what we need to be able to regularly send expert staff to public hearings and represent our communities’ interests in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

We’re gearing up for a big fight to ensure our state’s new Energy Plan will prioritize our communities and our ability to access clean energy affordably, and every dollar makes a difference.

And of course, if you aren't in a position to donate now, please do not worry about it. There's plenty of other ways to take action, which you'll hear more about soon.
