Before the turkey hits the table, letâs take a moment to reflect on all we have to be thankful for.
Â
First and foremost, I want to say how dadgum grateful I am to the fine folks of East Tennessee for putting their trust in me. The red wave earlier this month wasnât just a victoryâit was a mandate straight from the people, and Iâm ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work with my fellow Republicans. From soaring inflation to woke nonsense, our country needs fixing, but Iâm confident that change is right around the corner. Itâs truly the honor of a lifetime to fight for the conservative values we hold dearâand weâre going to make this red trifecta count!
Â
I also want to take a moment to recognize the brave men and women who wonât be spending Thanksgiving with their families because theyâre standing watch, defending freedom around the world. We have the best and brightest armed forces on the planetâand I think about them and the sacrifices they make all the time. Theyâre the reason we can gather with our loved ones and enjoy each other over a home-cooked meal.
Â
Finally, I couldnât be more thankful for my family. Kelly kept me sane and strong through the whirlwind of the campaign trail, and our daughter Isabel continues to amaze us with her talents every day. Sometimes I pinch myself when I look at the two of them because I canât believe how blessed I am to have them in my life; they are my source of pride and joy!
Â
As you gather around the table, I hope youâre surrounded by love, laughter, and warmth. There are so many families still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene, so if youâve got a roof over your head and a warm meal in front of you, youâve already got more than so many. To those who are still picking up the pieces, my heart goes out to you, and Iâll continue fighting for you in any way I can.
Â
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
