One of the first things I learned as a nurse was the importance of being an advocate, of standing up for my patients and for my community. And I’m proud to continue standing up for Canadians as a part of our Liberal team.
I’m also deeply concerned about the cuts Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives want to make to health care and programs that are making a real difference in the lives of Canadians across the country.
Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have a real plan to strengthen our public health care system by delivering dental care, free prescription contraceptives, and free access to life-saving diabetes medications to millions of Canadians.
But Pierre Poilievre wants to cut it.
Not only that, but he also wants to cut programs that are helping to lower the cost of living including our investments in housing, child care, climate action, and so much more. And I need your help to stop him.
