Update following disruption at park-and-ride sites
Colwick park-and-ride

There has been disruption to our park-and-ride sites this week due to an illegal encampment.

Queens Drive reopened today (Friday 29) but Colwick will remain closed over the weekend. We hope to be able to open again from Monday (2 December).

A52 drainage works continue with diversion

National Highways is carrying out a three-week programme of essential drainage improvements on the A52 between Bramcote Island and Bardills Roundabout.

These are overnight works between 8pm and 6am. For safety reasons, the A52 will be closed during those hours between the two junctions. During closures, a fully-signed diversion will be in place and access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.

* Bays One and Two will be closed for the next few weeks for safety reasons at Victoria Bus Station following a minor collision last week. Services have been moved to other stands at the site so please check with your operator for individual bus routes 
* Trentbarton is making changes to its Mainline, The Cotgrave, and Rushcliffe Villager services from Sunday 3 November. More details here... [ [link removed] ]

*Travelling by train?*

* Latest Travel updates and planned engineering works from East Midlands trains [ [link removed] ]
* Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December: services to and from London St Pancras will be extremely busy due to engineering work on the East Coast Mainline. More here [ [link removed] ]
* Sunday 1 December: engineering works mean that the 10am London St Pancras to Nottingham service will depart Luton Airport Parkway earlier than usual at 10:31am and continue to run earlier to Bedford, where it will then resume its normal schedule
* Monday 2 December - Friday 6 December: the 10:52pm Leicester to Nottingham service will depart Leicester later at 10:59pm, and it will not call at Syston or Sileby. A connecting bus will run between Leicester and Loughborough calling at missing stations.
* Monday 2 December - Friday 6 December: amended services between Corby and Syston affecting London St Pancras International and Kettering / Corby / Derby / Nottingham services, and also between Leicester and Nottingham. More here [ [link removed] ]
* Tuesday 3 December - Friday 6 December: engineering works mean that the 5:21am Nottingham to Liverpool Lime Street service will leave earlier at 5.05am
* Monday 9 December - Friday 13 December: engineering works affecting Northern Railways services between Leeds/Sheffield and Nottingham. The 5.15am train from Sheffield will terminate at Chesterfield, with a replacement bus on to Nottingham. The 6.16am service from Nottingham to Leeds will start at Alfreton, with a bus running between Nottingham and Alfreton.
* Saturday 21 December - Sunday 29 December: major route improvement work on the Midland Mainline over Christmas will affect East Midlands Railway services in and out of London St Pancras. See here [ [link removed] ] for more.
