John—Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, but this simply can't wait.
Because you're one of Children's Hospital Los Angeles' most dedicated supporters, we want to offer you the chance to make an even greater impact today. Your Giving Tuesday donation will be matched THREE times—helping us reach our goal while extending vital care to children in need.
By making an early donation, your support will be tripled, up to $200,000. Plus, if you make a gift of $35 or more, you'll help provide a special My Paw In Yours Puppy to brighten the day of a child in the hospital.
John, it's not too soon to give. In fact, it's the very best way you can help kids like Greigh.
Greigh at 7 ½ months old in April 2021.
In 2020, baby Greigh was the first newborn at Children's Hospital Los Angeles found to be carrying the gene for a rare illness called spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) through California's Newborn Screening Program. Over time, SMA disables the muscles, and without treatment, Greigh eventually would not have been able to walk, sit up, talk, or even breathe on his own. The disease affects about 1 in 10,000 kids.
When Greigh was just 5 weeks old, doctors at CHLA treated him with a revolutionary gene replacement therapy. By 11 months old, he was walking—something his family and doctors once thought would be impossible. Today, Greigh is a healthy, playful, energetic 4-year-old who has flown past all developmental milestones for his age.
Your gift today can help more children like Greigh receive life-changing treatments. Donate now to support the cutting-edge care that gives kids healthier, brighter futures.

CHLA is leading the way in providing groundbreaking treatments to help children like Greigh. The future of medicine is bright—and with your support, we're helping more kids like Greigh grow up healthy, happy, and full of hope!
Claim this early-bird Giving Tuesday triple match and make more stories like Greigh's possible. Every gift will go three times as far today to help sick and injured children get access to the best possible care at CHLA.
Sincerely,
