The U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors recently performed an incredible concert at the Riley Center in Meridian. I am proud to see the great events being hosted at the Riley Center, and I look forward to the many concerts set for 2025.
Honoring our Veterans
Larry Wert, from my staff, attended the Veterans Day event in Tylertown and visited with American Legion Post 56 Commander Mark Binkley. I am thankful for Mark and Larry’s service and for all those who have served in uniform to protect and defend our great nation.

Introducing our Fall Interns
Recently, we welcomed our fall interns. We are excited to have college students and recent college graduates come work for the Third Congressional District of Mississippi and learn about government and civics. This week I am excited to highlight Bridget Aycock. Bridget Aycock is from Brandon, Mississippi, and graduated this past spring from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Foreign Language, with a concentration in German. We are proud that she is serving on our team this fall.
Poll Results from Last Week
Last week, I asked if you support our First Amendment which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” and 99% of you said yes. Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X to stay up-to-date on my work serving you.
