Here’s what happened:

The Environment Committee is studying why the Trudeau government’s carbon tax isn’t working.

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation was summoned to testify during an intense committee hearing in Parliament.

You have told us that the carbon tax is making life more expensive. The carbon tax cost the average taxpayer like you nearly $400 more every year than you get back in rebates. It drives up the cost for you to heat your home and drive to work.

You told us you wanted to scrap the carbon tax.
